Large scale wave-current flume is an experimental facility for researches on the impact of comprehensive factors of the wave and flow against coastal and oceanstructures. It can be used to study the design and construction of offshore and deep-water port, floating platform, artificial island etc.

The flume is 75m in length, 1.8m in width, 2.0min height. The maximum experimental depth is 1.5m, and the maximum flow rate is 0.8m3/s, with an accuracy of less than 0.03m/s. The wave generator is installed at the end of the flume, which can generate waves with the period between 0.5 ~ 5.0s and the height between 0.02 ~ 0.60m.
